How My Focus Went From 0 to 100% In 7 Days
9 days after I left my job of 6 years and career of 17 years, I am finally hitting the ground running.
Trust me, that is not the fastest way to be self sufficient. But I left work with a mind so filled with negative baggage from 40+ years of doubting myself, my intentions and my abilities that I really did not see where I was going. I knew I had to leave my job before the Christmas Rush set in. Once the holiday crush arrives in the retail sector, thought is gone and the autopilot kicks in. You smile at the rude bastards who are lying to you about how they bought such and such a product here and now they can’t find it (even though the store never carried that brand in its entire existence). Time goes on, and you stop caring about others.
I could not deal with that.
My business has steadily been increasing and its only downfall is not having me there to put the heart back into it.
So when I left on October 31, 2008, my mission was clear: put as much of myself into my business using the most productive time of my day!
When I woke up on November 1st, I spent most of that day trying to decide what I should be working on. I outlined the top 10 things I wanted to accomplish in the next 30 days. November 2nd, I work on something completely off that list. November 3rd, I still allowed myself to be sidetracked by new things in my inbox.
By Tuesday, I was getting angry at myself. I had signed up for Pam Ragland’s Level 2 Thought Shifting program in the last week of October, and I was trying to get the homework all turned in. I finally got it all in and was expecting Pam to do her thing (perform the actual shift), but she had had some computer malfunctions and was delayed by 48 hours. So when I woke up on Thursday, I said my morning prayer about what I was grateful for and set my intentions for the day. By the end of Thursday afternoon, I had accomplished more in that afternoon than I had over the last 6 days!
I emailed Pam and asked her if she had had a chance to start the shifting process, and she told me that she had started it the night before and that it took roughly 24 to 36 hours to do. So my focus had come as a result of Pam shifting my thoughts from the negativity that I had harbored for so long to the intentions I was finally setting correctly for myself.
So I highly recommend you check out Pam Ragland’s program, she offers a free call each week where she answers a lot of the questions that are on all of our minds.
